The smash “Camp Rock” tune, “Play My Music” performed by the Jonas Brothers and written by Kara DioGuardi and Mitch Allan ranked # 20 on the BB Hot 100 and#7 on Hot Digital, while “We Rock” written by Kara DioGuardi and Greg Wells landed at #33 on BB Hot 100 and#1 on Hot Single Sales. “Camp Rock” the soundtrack debuted at #3 on BB 200, #2 on Itunes “Top Album” Charts and #2 on BB Top Digital.

Vanessa Hudgens sophomore album, "Identified" was released on June1st and features the track, "Gone With the Wind" written by Kara DioGuardi, Eman Kiriakou, Zukhan Bey, Brandon Howard, Walter Afanasieff and Maimouna Youseff.

Christina Aguilera’s “Aint No Other Man”, written by Kara DioGuardi, is nominated for a 2008 BMI Pop Award.This award marks Kara's 10th BMI award over the span of her impressive career.

“Not Meant to Be” written by Kara and Theory of a Deadman frontman, Tyler Connolly, is featured on Theory of a Deadman’s new album, Scars & Souvenirs.

Kara’s single “Taking Chances,” the title song off of Celine Dion’s current album, has shot to #7 on the Billboard Hot AC chart in the US, while sitting in the Top 10 in 7 countries, including #1 on the Canadian Hot 100. The album peaked at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 in the US, while it continues to reign at #1 on the European Album chart, making the Top 10 in an astounding 22 countries.

Leona Lewis’ hit album “Sprit”, on which Kara’s song “Forgiveness” is featured, charted at #6 on the European Hot 100 Albums and has already gone 3x platinum in the UK.

This month Kara continues to work with recording artists Tynisha Keli and The Cheetah Girls, as well as Shanna Crooks, Jesse Lee, and J. Davey. Kara is currently collaborating with writer/producers Tricky, JR Rotem, Syience, Martin & Ash, Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon, Jason Reeves, Richard Marx, Matt Serletic, Jeff Spence, Jess Cates, and Jeffrey Steele.

Kara was honored at the 18th Annual SOCAN awards for her contribution to the song "Walk Away" performed by Kelly Clarkson and co-written with Chantal Kreviazuk, Raine Maida and Kelly Clarkson. "Walk Away" was recognized as having one of the greatest number of spins on Canadian pop radio in 2006.

Britney Spears’ current album, “Blackout”, on which Kara co-wrote one song and co-produced another, debuted at #2 on Billboard 200 and is currently #8 on Euro Album Charts. Kara’s song “Taking Chances” debuted at number 1 on the Top 100 albums on the Pan-European sales chart; is #12 on the AC Chart and #13 on the Canadian Hot 100, while Celine’s album, “Taking Chances” debuted at #3.

“Baby Love” from Nicole Scherzinger’s solo LP is #13 on Billboard's Top Euro Singles and #18 on Hot Euro Digital Tracks. Faith Hill’s “Lost” by Kara and Mitch Allan is up to # 16 on the AC Chart, while her album “The Hits” is charting at #3 on Country Album Chart. Backstreet Boy’s new album “Unbreakable”, which features the songs “Something That I Already Know”, peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200.

This month Kara is collaborating with recording artists Tynisha Keli, Nick Lachey,

Kara co-produces "Faith" for Puddle of Mud on their upcoming album with Brian Howes. Kara co-wrote the song with Brian Howes and Wes Scantlin.

International hit single "Bella Traicion" by EMI artist Belinda garners Kara a Latin Grammy Award nomination. The song, also to be released as "End of the Day" on Belinda's English album, was co-written with Belinda, Mitch Allan and Nacho Peregrin. Co-produced with Mitch Allan.

Celine Dion releases "Taking Chances" as her first single off her new album, named after Kara's song "Taking Chances," coming out September 10. Kara wrote this song in collaboration with UK Hall of Famer Dave Stewart. She also wrote and co-produced with Eman Kiriakou "Surprise, Surprise," slated for release on Celine's forthcoming album.

Pussycat Dolls' diva Nicole Scherzinger puts out her solo album with "Baby Love" (co-written by Kara and Will.i.am) as the first single. Look for it this September.

The Backstreet Boys are back and Kara's song "Something That I Already Know" will be featured on their forthcoming album this fall. It is also slated to be their second single. Kara co-wrote this song with David Hodges, Mitch Allan.

Kara has two songs on the upcoming Britney Spears record. She wrote and co-produced "Ooh Baby" with Fredwreck and produced "Heaven" with Freesha.

This month, Kara's writer collaborations include Dave Hodges, Mitch Allan, JR Rotem, KC Livingston, Busbee, and the UK writing team of Martin Harrington & Ash Howes. Kara has begun writing with/for Jive recording artist Lesley Roy and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, while she continues to work with Nicole Scherzinger, Leona Lewis, Britney Spears, and Backstreet Boys.

Kara's songs appear on both the #1 and #2 albums on the Billboard Top 200 chart - Hannah Montana's 'Hannah Montana 2' and Kelly Clarkson's 'My December', respectively.

Her song "Papi Lover" is also featured on the #1 Top Latin Album - Daddy Yankee's El Cartel: The Big Boss.

Kara DioGuardi was awarded three BMI trophies at this year's Pop ceremony, in addition to earning the coveted Songwriter Of The Year honor. This marks Kara's 9th BMI award in the the span of just 4 years.

Avril Lavigne's 'Best Damn Thing' entered both the Billboard 200 and The European Top 100 Charts at #1 and was the Top Digital Album of the week. Kara contributed one hit song to the album.

Kara's song "Lost" will be the first single off of Faith Hill's highly-anticipated Greatest Hits album.

Hilary Duff's album "Dignity" came in at #3, which was the biggest pop record of the week, beating Timbaland's record. The Kara-written song "With Love" went Top 20 on the Pop 100 chart. Kara wrote 12 of the album's 14 tracks.

This month Kara's working with Cheetah Girls, Daniel Powter, Leona Lewis, Hannah Montana, Nick Lachey, Chad Kroeger.

Ashley Tisdale's new album "Headstrong" (of which Kara wrote the single "Be Good To Me") debuts at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 chart

Kara's company ARTHOUSE ENTERTAINMENT, who she co-owns with Stephen Finfer, has been # 7 in Publisher/Airplay/Market Share for last quarter in BILLBOARD magazine - right up there with major music publishers.

Kara has just worked with Avril Lavigne and has a song on her forthcoming album.

Kara has co-written the new Hilary Duff single coming out in February which will also launch Hilary Duff's new perfume - both the single and perfume are called "With Love". Kara's also finishing Hilary's new album in which she has co-written all the songs.

Kara co-wrote the recently released Ashley Tisdale's Radio Disney single "Be Good To Me".

Kara co-wrote the soon to be released single for Tifanny's Affair.

Taylor Hicks' record has now gone Platinum - Kara has two songs on the album.

Kara is currently in the studio with Will I Am, Nicole (Pussy Cat Dolls), Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Idina Menzel, Daddy Yankee and Headway.

Kara has just finished the Katharine McPhee record (6 songs) and a song for Ashley Tisdale on her new album being released early 2007.

Kara also has 2 songs on the new Taylor Hicks record.

Kara is currently working with Britney Spears, Hilary Duff and Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls who she also did a song with for Daddy Yankee's album.

"Ain't No Other Man" (Christina Aguilera) peaked at #7 on the UK charts and the album "Back to Basics" has sold 5 million records worlwide.

28th Nov : Kara also was on last week's number one on the Billboard 200 with "NOW 23".

"Back to Basics" (Christina Aguilera) is a Top Ten record, and hit #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart. The single "Ain't No Other Man" peaked on the Pop 100 Chart at #4, Billboard Hot 100 at #6.

"Alice in Wonderland" (Jewel) is a Top Ten record.

"I Don't Need A Man" is the next European single for the Pussycat Dolls. This single hit Top Ten in the US.

Kara's company Arthouse Entertainment, run in collaboration with business parter Stephen Finfer, ranked #8 in Billboard's list of Top 10 publishers based on greatest market share of airplay for 2nd quarter 2006.

Kara's current single, "Ain't No Other Man," on Christina Aguilera's album "Back to Basics," was a Top 10 hit, catapulting the record to #1 in the US and worldwide -- making it the year's biggest debut of a female artist. Kara co-writes 12 songs on the album.

"Rock Legends: The Platinum Weird documentary" premiered on VH-1 July 5th and is now posted on VSPOT at VH1.com.
